📋 Description

• Assist in the development, management, and storage of all project documentation • Participate in project hand-off meetings to gather important job information before construction • Assist the PM in preparing the construction budget • Assist in developing and managing the construction schedule • Develop and write subcontracts and purchase orders as requested • Manage subcontractors and their related performance contractually and collaboratively • Collect, organize, and distribute materials and equipment submittals • Create and distribute RFIs for clarification of project specifics • Work with the PM and accounting to resolve cost discrepancies by collecting and analyzing information • Help price, negotiate, and formalize changes in project scope • Work with Superintendents on requests for resources, materials, and equipment • Manage project safety, quality, and productivity • Ensure the jobsite remains clean and orderly

🎯 Requirements

• Previous professional experience in project management or BS/BA degree in Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management, or another related field • OSHA 30, First Aid, and CPR Training • Excellent knowledge of construction materials and equipment • Previous leadership experience with proven leadership skills • Ability to multitask and effectively manage time while prioritizing construction-phase activities • Ability to budget, schedule, negotiate, and control costs • Ability to work collaboratively and plan ahead • Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities • Highly organized • Knowledge of MS Office Suite • Knowledge of construction safety and quality standards • Understanding of construction management processes • Familiarity with construction and project management software programs • High familiarity with contract and subcontract documents, terms, and conditions
