📋 Description

• Lead payroll operations, including payroll processing, time collection, payroll balancing, reporting, tax form administration, and issue resolution • Manage and develop the payroll team through recruiting, training, coaching, performance management, and succession planning • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local payroll laws and regulations, including tax reporting, wage and hour requirements, garnishments, and record retention • Lead payroll system enhancements, upgrades, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives to increase efficiency, automation, and compliance • Serve as the primary payroll resource and liaison for Human Resources, Finance, Information Technology, auditors, vendors, and organizational leaders on payroll-related matters

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Human Resources, or a related field • 5–7 years of progressive payroll administration experience, including payroll processing, compliance, and operations • 3+ years of leadership experience with a proven ability to develop staff, manage resources, and drive process improvements • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred • Employees must be vaccinated or have lab-confirmed immunity for Measles, Mumps, Rubella, and Varicella • Employees must receive a flu vaccine during the flu season in the year hired and annually thereafter, or receive an approved medical or religious exemption
