📋 Description

• Build and operate the Networking & Security managed service in collaboration with the Networking & Security Practice Manager, Principal Architect, and Managed Services team • Implement event management, dynamic monitoring, observability, and predictive monitoring/AIOps • Author operational runbooks and automation for repeatable service operations • Design and implement secure network architectures, including cloud hosting, operating system hardening, and security-tool integration • Develop and maintain firewall/IPS rules, test security products, and review application/system security controls • Create network diagrams, flowcharts, and security-product and procedure documentation • Collaborate with network systems teams to remediate infected systems and support secure network operations • Lead and mentor technical teams, overseeing budget, contract milestones, and SLA compliance • Troubleshoot and resolve security alerts, manage customer expectations, and deliver executive-level reporting • Develop training modules and materials for security personnel • Coordinate with sales, pre-sales, and product teams to deliver solutions and integrate clients into managed services • Act as a client subject matter expert, validate Statements of Work, and ensure service delivery against contracts • Manage and monitor customer security devices remotely • Troubleshoot storage and network configuration issues with vSphere administrators • Use SIEM tools such as Splunk and ArcSight for monitoring, analysis, and reporting • Apply cyber-attack defense and threat-detection techniques to protect enterprise environments

🎯 Requirements

• 10 to 15 years of experience in network and security managed-services operations • Strong operational competencies in monitoring and observability, automation, incident and change management, and cost management • Proven experience operating networking environments supporting production and mission-critical workloads • Strong understanding of AWS, Azure, and GCP networking and connectivity models • Experience within a Managed Services Provider (MSP) environment • Deep knowledge of networking principles, TCP/IP, firewalls, IDS/IPS, authentication, and general networking • Experience with NSX, cloud security, and secure configuration management • Proficiency in cyber-attack response, threat detection, and risk-based controls • Excellent communication and customer service management skills, including running service reviews with customer leadership • General familiarity with SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance frameworks and security-aware operations • Deep familiarity with Palo Alto firewall environments • Leadership and mentoring abilities • Strong customer-facing and stakeholder management skills • Ability to work in a fast-paced, multi-client environment • Experience integrating AI into service offerings and using AI/ML platforms for ticket resolution, optimization, and AIOps is a major plus • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field preferred • Certifications including CISSP, CEH, GIAC, CISA, CCNP, CCIE, CCNA, SANS, ITIL, or PMP preferred • Must be based in the United States • Travel up to 30% may be required
