📋 Description

• Turn strategic enterprise deployments into production-ready success stories by embedding on-site, solving customer problems, and building reusable automation patterns • Lead focused 5-day deployment engagements with enterprise customers, arriving with a hypothesis and leaving production workflows in place • Partner with Deployment Strategists to align technical execution with customer priorities, stakeholder needs, and adoption goals • Build trust with technical and non-technical stakeholders by turning complex environments into actionable solutions • Design and build workflows, integrations, and custom nodes tailored to customer environments and scalable beyond the initial use case • Extend existing n8n nodes or add missing functionality for high-value enterprise use cases • Translate ambiguous business problems into practical automation designs • Work across industries and technology stacks • Identify when bespoke requirements should become reusable node improvements, product features, or platform capabilities • Document technical gaps, customer context, implementation learnings, and prioritization signals for Product and Engineering • Contribute reusable learnings, workflows, custom nodes, and integration patterns to an internal playbook library • Deliver time-boxed customer engagements with clear outcomes • Build solutions customers can own and operate themselves • Simplify solutions and push back against unnecessary complexity

🎯 Requirements

• Solid full-stack or backend engineering experience • Production experience building integrations, APIs, or automation pipelines • Ability to create custom nodes and extend existing integrations • Confidence working with APIs, authentication patterns, data models, and event-driven systems • Ability to distinguish customer workarounds, reusable node improvements, and product features • Comfort working directly in customer environments with technical and non-technical stakeholders • Ability to turn messy operational problems into practical technical designs • Strong technical judgment and ability to avoid unnecessary complexity • Willingness to travel roughly 50-60% of the time for on-site engagements, primarily across Europe • Ability to quickly understand new industries, technology stacks, and customer environments • Familiarity with n8n or similar workflow automation tools is a nice-to-have • Enterprise deployment experience is a nice-to-have • Experience building custom nodes, connectors, plugins, SDKs, or reusable integration frameworks is a nice-to-have • Forward deployed or solutions engineering experience is a nice-to-have • Experience turning customer learnings into product feedback, roadmap input, or engineering specifications is a nice-to-have • Existing right to work is required outside Germany; visa sponsorship is available for Germany • English is the company language
