📋 Description

• Provide an intuitive and efficient experience for customers through customer-facing web applications • Work with the architecture team to drive complex system design • Perform code reviews and mentor the development team on best practices • Make key design and technical implementation decisions and guide engineering vision • Define requirements with stakeholders and transform them into scalable, reliable, developer-friendly microservices APIs • Design, build, and maintain sustainable systems supporting business applications • Improve processes and procedures and evangelize best practices • Contribute to end-to-end compliance initiatives • Practice technical design, develop new functionality, and maintain existing components • Work regularly with PHI in paper and electronic form • Complete HIPAA/PHI privacy, policy and procedure compliance, and security training within the first 30 days • Maintain current status on Natera training requirements

🎯 Requirements

• BS degree in computer science, comparable program, or equivalent • 7+ years of overall software development experience • Experience building secure, scalable web applications with Java and other web technologies • Experience with object-oriented programming in Java, Spring Frameworks, and Hibernate • Experience with cloud technologies; AWS preferred • Experience with front-end development in React, Sass, and JavaScript is a plus • Experience with Ruby and RoR frameworks is a plus • Experience with micro-service enterprise architecture, cross-platform integration, and scalable applications in heterogeneous environments • Experience with software development lifecycle processes, including build, software configuration, change control, release, and deployment • Strong relational database design and optimization skills • Knowledge of object-oriented programming, Spring Framework, relational databases, SQL, AWS services, Docker/container technologies, REST APIs, event-driven microservice architecture, front-end technologies, Linux, and CI/CD • Demonstrated teamwork and analytical skills • Excellent organizational, communication, presentation, and facilitation skills
