📋 Description

• Assist in defining software development project plans, including scoping, scheduling, and implementation • Design, write, translate, and code software programs and applications according to specifications • Write new and modify existing programming scripts to enhance functionality and/or performance • Design, run, and monitor software performance tests on new and existing programs • Correct errors, isolate areas for improvement, and perform general debugging • Analyze test results and deliver solutions to problem areas • Generate statistics and write reports for management and/or team members on programming status • Research emerging application development software products, languages, and standards • Conduct code reviews and mentor less experienced development staff • Train end users to operate new or modified programs • Research, design, document, and modify software specifications throughout the production life cycle • Participate in compliance program objectives and perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• College diploma or university degree in computer science, information systems, or software engineering • 3+ years of professional programming work experience • Excellent understanding of coding methods and best practices • Working knowledge or experience with source control tools such as TFS and GitHub • Experience interviewing end-users about functionality, interface, problems, and usability issues • Hands-on experience developing test cases and test plans • Experience with Agile methodologies and Agile project management tools such as Jira and Azure DevOps • Working knowledge or experience with cloud-first, API-first, and microservice architecture or strategies • Working knowledge or experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices • Working knowledge or experience building cloud-native applications using AWS, Azure, or GCP • Ability to participate in, adhere to, and support compliance program objectives • Ability to interact cooperatively and respectfully with other employees
