📋 Description

• Build features end to end from requirements through production across UI, API, data model, and deployment • Design and evolve the API layer, including data contracts, error handling, authentication, authorization, API versioning, and typed interfaces • Design Postgres schemas, write and tune queries, manage migrations, and optimize indexing, normalization, and performance • Build readiness dashboards, competency visualizations, adaptive learning paths, assessment flows, and administrative tooling • Establish and enforce application architecture, state management, testing, observability, and code review standards • Improve backend latency and throughput, database query efficiency, browser rendering performance, bundle size, and load behavior • Ship through GitOps and CI/CD pipelines using ArgoCD-driven Kubernetes deployments • Collaborate with product, design, platform, and customer-facing teams to deliver software • Mentor engineers as the team grows

🎯 Requirements

• 7+ years building and operating production web applications, including senior or lead experience on a complex, long-lived codebase • Genuine full-stack depth across UI, API/service development, and databases • Strong Node.js and Express experience, including routing, middleware, service layering, authentication, authorization, API versioning, error handling, and testing • Deep modern Angular expertise, including standalone components, signals or RxJS-based state, dependency injection, routing, lazy loading, and performance tuning • Production PostgreSQL experience with schema design, migrations, query optimization, execution plans, transactions, and indexing • Experience deploying containerized applications to Kubernetes, including configuration, secrets, health checks, scaling, and troubleshooting • Hands-on GitOps and CI/CD experience with ArgoCD or Flux, Helm and/or Kustomize, and pipeline automation • Architecture judgment across service boundaries, data modeling, state management, build tooling, and dependencies • Unit, integration, and end-to-end testing discipline • Comfort with continuous delivery culture and operational excellence • Self-starter bias for action • Strong communication skills • Must be a US citizen authorized to work in the United States • React experience is strongly preferred • Nice-to-have experience with AWS/GovCloud, Terraform, observability stacks, event-driven processing, design systems, learning/LMS platforms, SCORM/xAPI, SSO/SAML/OIDC, RBAC, regulated environments, and AI coding tools
