📋 Description

• Manage proposal efforts from pre-RFP planning through final submission • Develop and manage proposal schedules, milestones, compliance matrices, and production timelines • Manage multiple concurrent proposal efforts while meeting aggressive deadlines • Coordinate technical, management, contracts, pricing, and executive contributors throughout the proposal lifecycle • Facilitate kickoff meetings, status meetings, color team reviews, recovery sessions, and final production activities • Serve as the primary point of accountability for proposal execution and on-time delivery • Analyze and interpret RFPs, RFQs, RFIs, BAAs, and other Government acquisition documents • Develop compliance matrices and proposal outlines covering customer requirements • Verify compliance with Section L, Section M, evaluation criteria, page limits, formatting, and submission instructions • Conduct compliance, quality assurance, and final readiness reviews • Write, edit, and refine technical, management, staffing, transition, past performance, executive summary, and corporate capability volumes • Transform technical input into persuasive, customer-focused proposal narratives • Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop compliant proposal responses • Use AI-assisted proposal tools with human oversight • Develop and maintain templates, checklists, style guides, content libraries, resumes, past performance databases, and reusable proposal assets • Establish scalable proposal processes and improve proposal operations through automation, AI-enabled workflows, lessons learned, and industry best practices • Establish repeatable proposal management processes and a best-in-class knowledge library • Manage concurrent DoD pursuits from kickoff through submission and improve proposal win rate

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent professional experience • 3–5 years of experience managing Federal Government proposals • Demonstrated success supporting Department of Defense (DoD) proposal efforts • Strong understanding of the Federal acquisition process, including FAR and DFARS • Extensive experience developing compliance matrices, proposal schedules, and proposal outlines • Exceptional technical writing, editing, proofreading, and document production skills • Outstanding organizational, project management, and time management abilities • Ability to independently manage multiple high-priority proposals with minimal supervision • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat • Experience coordinating cross-functional proposal teams in deadline-driven environments • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to proposal compliance and quality • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government security clearance, if required by the opportunity • Preferred: APMP Foundation, Practitioner, or Professional Certification • Preferred: Experience supporting U.S. Army, Air Force, Navy, Space Force, SOCOM, Defense Agencies, or other Federal customers • Preferred: Familiarity with NextStage, GovWin, GovTribe, SAM.gov, and other Federal opportunity and proposal management platforms • Preferred: Experience using AI-enabled proposal tools including ChatGPT and Microsoft Copilot • Preferred: Ability to implement AI-assisted proposal workflows while ensuring accuracy, security, and compliance
