📋 Description

• Lead technical discovery with prospects and customers • Deliver tailored product demos and technical walkthroughs • Design and explain solution architectures, data flows, and integration approaches across enterprise systems • Validate technical feasibility, data readiness, access requirements, and security or networking constraints • Build lightweight prototypes, sample analyses, scripts, or proofs of concept • Partner with Sales to qualify technical fit, scope solutions, answer technical questions, and set expectations • Support architecture reviews, security and IT diligence, and implementation planning • Coordinate handoffs to Customer Success, implementation, and Engineering • Share customer feedback and recurring requirements with Product and Engineering • Create and improve reusable demo assets, reference architectures, technical documentation, and playbooks • Collaborate with Sales, Customer Success, Product, Engineering, and customer teams • Prepare demos, lead discovery, build proofs of concept, document risks and next steps, and share product feedback

🎯 Requirements

• Experience in Solutions Engineering, Sales Engineering, technical consulting, implementation, or another customer-facing technical role • Strong technical fundamentals and ability to reason about APIs, integrations, data flows, and enterprise software environments • Comfort working with data-heavy workflows and evaluating data quality, mapping, and integration requirements • SQL or scripting experience is helpful • Ability to assess technical feasibility and explain architecture, security, and implementation trade-offs without overpromising • Ability to build clear, focused demos or lightweight proofs of concept • Excellent written and verbal communication with technical and non-technical audiences • Strong discovery skills and ability to turn ambiguous needs into a practical solution plan • Product sense and judgment to distinguish account-specific requests from broader needs • High ownership, sound follow-through, and comfort managing multiple evaluations and stakeholders • Empathy for customer workflows and ability to build trust through clear, accurate communication • Experience supporting enterprise SaaS evaluations or complex, multi-stakeholder sales cycles • Familiarity with accounting, tax, finance, fintech, or R&D workflows • Experience with data integrations, ETL/ELT, SQL-heavy systems, or common enterprise platforms • Familiarity with AI/ML products and their capabilities, limitations, and data requirements • Experience navigating enterprise security, privacy, compliance, or networking reviews, including SOC 2 environments or private-network requirements • Ability to overlap with the San Francisco, CA headquarters time zone
