• Own the revenue number and commercial calendar, converting pipeline into signed, invoiced work • Build and lead the commercial organization, including recruiting and developing a Business Development Manager • Build a repeatable sales process with weekly pipeline reviews and monthly forecasting • Develop aviation, government, and institutional verticals • Leverage shared resources, cross-selling opportunities, pricing strategy, and major business development initiatives with 617 Collective leadership • Serve as senior relationship owner for key accounts and protect and grow recurring revenue • Establish renewal planning and scope management • Maintain client satisfaction and resolve delivery issues • Own delivery quality, on-time performance, studio utilization, project ownership, and operating processes • Improve estimating, scoping, and time capture to manage project profitability • Own the P&L and operating budget, managing gross margin and profitability targets • Deliver EBITDA and gross margin performance consistent with Board-approved targets • Manage cash, receivables collection, vendor terms, and a rolling 13-week cash forecast • Lead, coach, and stabilize a small senior team • Assess organizational structure and build capabilities required for growth • Protect company culture and creative standards • Deliver monthly management reports to the Board and weekly cash-and-pipeline reports to 617 Collective • Operate within delegated authority and escalate reserved matters to the Board
• Eight or more years in agency, professional services, or marketing services • At least three years with P&L or general management responsibility • Demonstrated ability to personally originate, pitch, and close new business • Ability to build a sales function • Track record of client retention and account growth in a relationship-driven services business • Operating discipline across budgeting, forecasting, utilization, project profitability, and cash management • Experience leading small teams as a practitioner-leader • Demonstrated ability to lead organizational change while maintaining team engagement and client confidence • Clear, direct communication and comfort reporting to an owner-led board • Preferred: experience with aviation, municipal, public-sector, or institutional clients and procurement processes • Preferred: background spanning brand strategy, design, and digital delivery • Preferred: prior turnaround, restart, or early-scale experience in a small business • Preferred: experience building relationships in regional or relationship-driven markets
