📋 Description

• Keep assigned application systems and associated software fully operational and integrated into the Northwestern Medicine IT environment • Monitor, analyze, and plan system upgrades to ensure functionality and stability • Provide guidance and support for computing platforms and systems integration • Integrate end-user requests with software functionality • Analyze system performance and capacity and recommend improvements • Coordinate problem determination and resolution with vendors and manufacturers across distributed IT systems • Respond to customer needs and follow issues through to closure • Support technical teams and customers with project and support activities • Participate in project planning, design, development, testing, and implementation of application software code • Analyze business requirements, recommend system changes, write technical specifications, and implement systems and changes • Provide support for identifying and implementing best-practice standards • Mentor Associate Analysts and other application team members • Contribute to the IS Knowledge Repository • Participate in on-call support to ensure system availability and performance

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years technical experience • Excellent verbal and written communication skills • Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent experience • 3+ years of experience in the core discipline in the healthcare industry preferred • Ability to participate in on-call support • Successful completion of a criminal-history background check for new hires and, at times, internal transfers • Compliance with relevant policies, procedures, regulatory and accreditation standards
