• Navigate and resolve challenges within accounts with tailored solutions • Build strategic territory plans aligned to shared priorities • Drive product demand and support better patient outcomes • Partner with territory teammates, field teams, and home-office colleagues • Provide customer access support • Analyze market, competitive, territory data, and market trends • Uncover local insights and support pull-through efforts • Lead customer engagements virtually and in person • Facilitate planning sessions with key stakeholders • Collaborate across functions to solve complex customer challenges • Deliver real-time access support • Work with Patient Specialty Services to ensure a seamless customer experience • Use digital tools and omni-channel strategies to personalize outreach • Engage customers across virtual and face-to-face settings
• Bachelor’s degree from a 4-year college or university • Experience within the last 5 years in pharmaceutical, biotech, healthcare, medical devices, diagnostics, life sciences services, insurance, consumer health, B2B, or similarly complex sales environments • Territory Account Specialist level: 2+ years of relevant experience • Senior Territory Account Specialist level: 5+ years of relevant experience • Executive Territory Account Specialist level: 10+ years of relevant experience • Associate level: limited prior sales experience, or 4+ years of US military service in a leadership capacity • Proven track record of consistent high performance • Experience navigating and selling to large accounts and key customers • Analytical ability to find, prioritize, and apply relevant information • Ethical leadership and ability to promote ethical behavior and compliance • Must reside within the territory or within 50 miles of the territory border • Ability to travel 60–80% across a broad geography • Ability to drive and/or fly within the territory • Fully valid and unrestricted driver’s license required • Ability to communicate clinical product information • Ability to collaborate cross-functionally in a matrix environment • Broad understanding of patient services, market access, buy and bill, specialty pharmacy, reimbursement, or medical HCP calling is desirable • Experience across therapeutic groups, disease states, account management strategy, or new product launches is desirable • Must be able to comply with customer credentialing guidelines, which may require vaccination • Novartis will not sponsor visas for this position
