📋 Description

• Design and build factory infrastructure and automation for NVIDIA Inference Microservices (NIMs) • Design efficient, scalable, and reliable automation factory infrastructure • Build infrastructure and workflows for optimizing and serving AI inference across heterogeneous cluster environments • Develop a factory pipeline that transforms AI models into deployable services validated across cloud, on-premises, and Kubernetes environments • Define and deliver technical strategies and roadmaps for the NIM factory • Design interfaces, data models, schemas, and observability for the factory pipeline and compute infrastructure • Design and develop scalable and reliable factory components • Collaborate with AI model teams to understand requirements and improve productivity • Define metrics and drive improvements based on user feedback • Mentor and collaborate with team members and other teams • Build infrastructure, pipelines, backends, Docker builds, test harnesses, metrics, performance engineering, and log ingestion for NIM factory capabilities

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced programming skills for distributed and compute systems, backend services, microservices, and cloud technologies • Experience working with multifunctional teams, principals, and architects across organizational boundaries • Mentorship experience and ability to grow teams and team members • Flexibility to adjust direction and expectations based on customer needs • Deep technical expertise in distributed containerized applications • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes (K8s), Cloud Endpoints, Helm, and Prometheus • Experience building and testing microservice applications and automation pipelines • Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to lead multifunctional efforts • Experience debugging and analyzing performance of distributed microservices or cloud systems • BS or MS in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience • 8+ years of experience developing performant microservice, cloud software, and/or tooling • Experience delivering event-driven applications using Temporal, Kafka, Redis, or similar services • Experience building and deploying containers for microservices, cloud, and on-premises deployments, including associated CI/CD pipelines • Prior experience with large-scale full-stack development
