📋 Description

• Responsible for independently managing multi-state payroll and related activities including computation of wage and overtime payments, payroll deductions, paycheck advances, bonus runs, commissions, fringe benefit reporting, and separation payments. • Responsible for all aspects of payroll, including payroll processing, tax set up and compliance, payroll configuration within HRIS, reporting, and compliance auditing. • Play a crucial role in system conversions and implementations related to payroll and time and attendance. • Coordinate 401(k) contribution/HSA submission processes by inputting accurate data into vendor portals. • Audit and review benefit deductions and reconcile against election and enrollment information. • Prepare manual payments when required. • Ensure compliance with federal, state and local wage and hour laws. • Review timesheets and time off requests and address any discrepancies. • Identify areas for improvement in payroll and benefits processes and recommend best practices.

🎯 Requirements

• 5-7 years of payroll experience in a dedicated payroll function • Working knowledge of payroll processing, taxes, compliance, and auditing • Experience with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) • Experience in providing quality customer service required • Must be eligible to work in the United States without the need for work visa or residency sponsorship.
