📋 Description

• Architect and build next-generation commerce experiences across artist stores and direct-to-consumer platforms • Provide technical support and leadership in service development and continual improvement • Collaborate within cross-functional teams and contribute to end-to-end solutions • Deliver well-tested, performant and scalable features • Estimate stories and tasks accurately • Test deliverables against user-story acceptance criteria • Create technical documentation • Build accessible, compliant, fast-loading, cross-browser website features • Build and maintain headless commerce experiences using Shopify Hydrogen, Remix and React • Develop scalable solutions using Shopify Storefront API and Admin API • Integrate eCommerce and consumer marketing platforms, including CRM, AdTech, MarTech and customer-service technologies • Build reusable commerce components and patterns across brands and markets • Design performant customer experiences optimized for conversion and engagement • Extend Shopify capabilities using Checkout Extensibility, Shopify Functions, Metaobjects and custom applications

🎯 Requirements

• 10+ years of work experience in software design and development, with hands-on experience building UI-heavy experiences • Strong experience with Shopify ecosystem and modern commerce architecture • Hands-on experience with Shopify Hydrogen and Storefront API • Experience building headless commerce solutions in production • Experience with Shopify Admin API, Checkout Extensibility and Shopify Functions • Strong understanding of Shopify theme architecture • Experience with headless CMS and self-hosted CMS • Experience designing content schemas and editorial workflows • Experience building structured content models for commerce experiences • Go (Golang) experience • Bachelor's in Computer Science, related field, or equivalent demonstrable experience • Nice-to-have experience with Sanity CMS; Contentful, Storyblok, Builder.io or similar headless CMS platforms; search, discovery and merchandising; personalization and customer data platforms; international commerce and localization; REST, GraphQL, gRPC and third-party libraries; PostgreSQL and Redis; full-stack technologies; complex scalable systems; debugging and remediation; team communication
