📋 Description

• Provide oversight of the Transitional Housing–Apartments program • Ensure effective delivery, performance, and quality of services aligned with Operation Homefront’s mission, standards, and strategic objectives • Lead case management oversight, program compliance, and client engagement efforts • Monitor client progress through regular check-ins, virtual monthly renewal meetings, and virtual unit inspections • Coordinate financial counseling services and transition resources • Assist clients transitioning into communities through guidance and connections to local resources • Educate clients on program and property rules and expectations • Participate in community outreach activities, committees, coalitions, presentations, task forces, and provider meetings • Attend relevant community groups focused on housing, veteran services, and supportive services • Share program, department, and organizational updates with community partners • Document outreach activities, key contacts, and outcomes • Review applications, determine program eligibility, conduct applicant intakes, and complete background and reference checks • Ensure accurate move-in documentation and maintain confidential client records • Coordinate with Integrated Public Relations, Accounting, and Development teams on grant proposals and reporting requirements • Maintain complete, accurate, and current program documentation • Provide guidance, mentorship, training, and onboarding support to Housing Case Workers • Complete property management responsibilities, including unit setup, maintenance and repairs, virtual property inspections, resident concerns, and unit upkeep • Ensure timely data entry and track key performance indicators • Support reporting, audits, and program evaluations with reliable, compliant data • Coordinate donation requests, accounting documentation, and internal reports • Perform other duties as assigned

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in social work or related field desired; master’s preferred • 3–5 years’ experience in a non-profit organization or working with the military community • Knowledge of housing programs and military pay systems preferred • Property management experience • Microsoft Office 365 proficiency • Valid driver’s license • Annual Motor Vehicle Report (MVR) • Criminal background check • 100/300/100 personal auto coverage • Ability to lift up to 20 pounds • Ability to drive a motor vehicle and travel to and from meetings, training sessions, or other business-related events as needed • Candidate selected will be required to submit to a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check, and education verification
