📋 Description

• Design, build, test, deploy, and maintain scalable, reliable platform services and shared libraries • Contribute to platform and system architecture decisions focused on reliability, scalability, and developer experience • Write high-quality, maintainable code and model strong engineering practices • Collaborate with Staff Engineers and peers to implement standards and patterns supporting Continuous Delivery • Identify and address performance, scalability, and reliability issues across platform services • Participate in design reviews, code reviews, and technical discussions • Improve monitoring, alerting, and incident response practices • Investigate production root causes and implement long-term fixes to reduce on-call burden • Mentor junior and mid-level engineers through code reviews, pairing, and technical guidance • Partner with cross-functional teams to deliver measurable business and customer value • Proactively propose improvements • Use AI tools thoughtfully to reduce manual work and make better decisions faster

🎯 Requirements

• 7-8 years of related software engineering experience with a bachelor's degree, or a master's degree with an equivalent combination of education and experience • Strong experience in software development focused on backend systems and services • Proficiency in Java, C#, C++, or similar backend languages • Strong knowledge of software design principles, data structures, and algorithms • Experience building and operating scalable, reliable, and secure systems • 3+ years designing, building, deploying, and maintaining container-based applications • 4+ years working with cloud platforms such as AWS, GCP, or Azure • Experience with Continuous Delivery practices and automated deployment pipelines • Strong problem-solving and debugging skills • Effective communication and collaboration skills • Experience mentoring junior engineers and contributing to team-level technical leadership • Working knowledge of secure development practices and security considerations in distributed systems • Open to experimenting with AI tools and willing to learn
