📋 Description

• Serve as an integral member of Optro’s expanding legal team • Focus primarily on Enterprise and Strategic deals and support East Coast Area Directors and their teams • Independently lead legal negotiations with customers • Provide general guidance on subscription agreements, data processing agreements, partner agreements, and vendor agreements • Help shape initiatives designed to streamline Optro’s contracting process as the company scales • Interact directly with customers, partners, vendors, internal stakeholders, and executives across functions including sales and information security

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of in-house transactional experience in a role requiring direct interaction with potential customers, partners, vendors, and internal stakeholders and executives from sales to information security • 5+ years of experience negotiating SaaS agreements, Amendments, and Order Forms with enterprise customers • Understanding of the full contract lifecycle from NDA to internal approvals through conclusion of the signature process • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail • Strong communication and interpersonal skills • Proficiency editing and managing contracts using Microsoft Office and Google Product Suites • Growth mindset and ability to work in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple concurrent projects and tasks to completion within required time frames • Team mentality with flexibility to address unique issues in real time and awareness of when to involve others • Licensed to practice law and in good standing in state of residence • Background check required • Legal authorization to work in the country where the job is based
