📋 Description

• Manage multiple airport deployment projects from preconstruction handoff through final completion and closeout • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, procurement plans, and deployment milestones • Serve as the primary contact for airport authorities, airlines, terminal operators, landlords, concessionaires, and other stakeholders • Coordinate contractors, subcontractors, specialty fabricators, utility providers, and consultants • Oversee procurement and fabrication activities, including long-lead materials and equipment • Coordinate airport badging, security clearances, access permits, escorts, work windows, airside requirements, and operational restrictions • Manage installation sequencing and phasing to minimize disruption to airport operations • Coordinate utility outages, temporary services, shutdowns, inspections, testing, commissioning, and system activation • Review construction drawings, shop drawings, submittals, RFIs, and change requests • Identify project risks, field conflicts, schedule impacts, and operational constraints and develop mitigation strategies • Monitor contractor performance, quality, safety, and schedule adherence • Lead recurring project meetings and document decisions and action items • Coordinate inspections, punch lists, final testing, commissioning, turnover documentation, warranties, and closeout • Maintain project documentation, financial tracking, and project reporting • Track commitments, forecast costs, review invoices, manage change orders, and maintain financial reporting • Ensure compliance with airport standards, building codes, ADA requirements, FAA regulations where applicable, and company safety policies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field preferred; equivalent education and relevant commercial construction experience will also be considered • 3 to 10 years of experience managing commercial construction, infrastructure, transportation, or design-build projects • Experience leading projects in active operational environments such as airports, transit facilities, campuses, or other occupied public spaces • Ability to coordinate contractors, consultants, regulatory agencies, and multiple internal and external stakeholders • Experience with permitting, utility coordination, construction administration, procurement, project scheduling, commissioning, and closeout • Experience managing specialty construction projects involving signage, electrical systems, structural installations, digital displays, architectural elements, or transportation infrastructure • Strong understanding of construction sequencing and field coordination • Ability to identify risks, resolve complex field issues, and make sound decisions in fast-paced project environments • Excellent organizational, communication, negotiation, and relationship management skills • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and project management software • Ability to travel up to 70% to support project deployment activities • Experience working directly with airport authorities or on aviation-related construction projects • Experience with display technology and signage • Familiarity with airport security protocols, badging requirements, operational work windows, and airside and landside construction practices • Experience with Bluebeam, eBuilder, SiteTracker, Microsoft Project, or similar construction management platforms
