• Support the creation and execution of Broker Distribution strategy to meet new sales, retention, profitability, and expense objectives • Meet annual sales goals established by Sales Leadership • Partner with Workforce Benefits Distribution resources to deliver the Workforce Benefits story to the broker community • Strengthen, deepen, and grow broker relationships • Execute the appropriate number of broker meetings per week with assigned brokers • Drive an appropriate pipeline of RFPs per month • Build and advance local broker relationships to drive sales and increase the Pacific Life brand • Demonstrate proficiency in Pacific Life group products • Maintain connections with underwriting, product, pricing, regulatory compliance, and actuarial pricing teams • Use established and innovative approaches, tools, and partners to enable growth objectives • Prioritize customer and broker viewpoints in decision-making • Participate in industry and community activities • Represent the company at legislative platforms, industry events, and community activities as needed • Perform other job-related duties and special projects as required • Report directly to the Regional Sales Manager
• 5+ years of experience in group benefits sales • Established presence in the broker marketplace • College degree concentrated in business management, finance, or risk management, or equivalent work experience • Ability to seek and analyze data from varied sources to support decisions and align others with organizational strategy • Entrepreneurial and creative approach to developing innovative ideas • Ability to seek opinions, process feedback, and take smart risks • High degree of integrity and transparent, consistent conduct • Self-reflective and aware of personal limitations • Leads by example and drives organizational performance through continuous improvement • Mindset for breakthrough innovations and business models that create stakeholder value • Strong performance orientation and drive for results • Strong analytical skills and ability to understand business and financial complexities • Ability to respectfully and confidently collaborate and communicate with varied stakeholders
