⢠Design and launch a named professor advocate program to identify, engage, and activate customer champions ⢠Build segmented advocate pools for individual adopters and institutional relationships ⢠Maintain an advocate database with engagement history, content consent, and referral status ⢠Manage newsletters, spotlights, exclusive previews, and appreciation initiatives for the advocate community ⢠Assist with Customer Advisory Board programs and customer-focused events ⢠Oversee customer case studies, testimonials, video interviews, customer-generated content, and pull quotes ⢠Own the end-to-end case study pipeline from identification through distribution planning ⢠Drive review generation and online reputation initiatives; monitor and respond to reviews ⢠Develop a structured referral program for warm introductions to Sales ⢠Build approved reference, peer testimonial, and name-drop libraries for sales cycles ⢠Provide Sales with relevant references and customer evidence at appropriate deal stages ⢠Package customer outcomes into assets supporting sales cycles and retention ⢠Identify professors for conferences, webinars, and guest content ⢠Activate advocates on LinkedIn and other channels ⢠Build a speaker roster for events and panels ⢠Partner cross-functionally on customer engagement, product awareness, and adoption programs ⢠Lead value-reinforcing customer communications including webinars, newsletters, and educational content ⢠Gather customer insights for marketing, product, and customer experience strategies ⢠Identify opportunities to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention ⢠Report advocacy commercial outcomes monthly to leadership
⢠4+ years of experience in customer marketing, customer advocacy, or community programs in a B2B SaaS environment ⢠Demonstrated track record of building advocacy programs producing measurable commercial outcomes such as pipeline, referrals, and case studies ⢠Exceptional relationship-building skills with professors ⢠Strong storytelling instincts for developing compelling customer narratives ⢠High ownership and comfort with sales-adjacent metrics ⢠Ability to work hand-in-hand with a revenue team ⢠Analytical mindset with ability to track performance and derive actionable insights ⢠Highly organized, able to manage a large portfolio of relationships and concurrent projects ⢠Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. without sponsorship ⢠Nice to have: experience in edtech or selling to academic institutions ⢠Nice to have: familiarity with advocacy platforms such as Orca, Influitive, and ReferenceEdge ⢠Nice to have: experience with LinkedIn content strategy and thought leadership programs ⢠Nice to have: background in community management or event production ⢠Nice to have: experience leveraging AI tools
