📋 Description

• Provide technical pre-sales support for Palo Alto Networks - Idira product solutions • Proactively seek new sales opportunities by developing technical relationships within prospective accounts and active customers • Present the technical value proposition to customers and partners • Respond to functional and technical elements of RFIs/RFPs • Conduct and ensure the success of customer proof-of-concepts • Document client feature requests and issues in the CRM system • Support company and partner seminars and industry trade shows • Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams • Develop technical knowledge of Palo Alto Networks - Idira and associated technologies • Mentor other system engineers when appropriate • Create training content for the SE organization when appropriate • Drive and manage the technology evaluation stage of the sales process • Serve as the primary technical resource for the commercial sales force and key technical advisor/product advocate • Identify technical issues and design optimal solutions for complex customer infrastructure and data center environments globally

🎯 Requirements

• 3+ years Software Presales or equivalent customer-facing position • Computer Science Degree or equivalent experience required • Experience with Windows/Active Directory administration and operations • Knowledge of UNIX/Linux • Strong presentation skills and ability to build and present high-quality product demonstrations to technical and executive audiences • Superior communication and interpersonal skills • Ability to build relationships at multiple levels and work cross-organizationally toward solutions • Leadership and consensus-building skills • Understanding of security concepts and development of security roles meeting functional, technical, and regulatory requirements • Prior Palo Alto Networks - Idira software solutions experience preferred, or relevant enterprise applications, security management, systems management, identity management, and/or policy management experience preferred, especially IAM and SIEM • Operational experience with LDAP directories and LDAP authentication methods • Enterprise application authentication experience is a plus (e.g., .NET, Java, CLI) • Scripting knowledge (Python, Bash, PowerShell) is a plus • Security-related certifications (Security+, CEH, CISSP) are a plus • Familiarity with SaaS solutions is a plus • Must not require immigration sponsorship; the employer will not sponsor work visas
