📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership, expertise, and guidance throughout customers’ security transformation journeys • Define technical solutions that secure customers’ key business imperatives and ensure value realization • Evangelize Palo Alto Networks’ on-premises, cloud, and security operations services • Meet and exceed sales quotas by building and implementing strategic technical account plans • Understand customer business requirements and position, demonstrate, and create high-level designs across the PANW portfolio • Drive customer adoption of the Palo Alto Networks platform • Conduct discovery to understand technical, operational, and commercial imperatives • Collaborate with Professional Services, Customer Success, Specialist, Customer Support, and Channel teams • Deliver technical presentations, customer-specific demos, engagements, and workshops • Lead technical validation efforts based on best practices • Promote end-to-end solutions including PANW and/or partner professional services • Differentiate Palo Alto Networks in the cybersecurity market • Develop technical and professional skills through community and industry-event participation • Identify technical stakeholders and cultivate relationships to drive security architecture transformation roadmaps

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years experience in pre-sales/sales engineering • Strong understanding of data networking, security architectures, and modern cloud computing environments • Experience delivering cybersecurity solutions that solve technical challenges and influence new business initiatives is preferred • Experience influencing and gaining buy-in from key stakeholders • Experience in a pre-sales role is ideal • Experience creating and delivering technical presentations, workshops, or technical validation engagements • Experience selling, designing, implementing, or managing Network Security, SASE, SaaS, CNAPP and/or SOC Transformation Technologies • Experience partnering with Customer Support functions to ensure successful implementation and adoption of sold solutions • Experience in complex sales involving long sales processes with multiple buying centers and multi-product solutions is preferred • Ability to support in-person customer meetings; travel may be required • Proficient in English • Must not require immigration sponsorship; the employer will not sponsor work visas for this position
