📋 Description

• Design, deploy, configure, automate, and validate VMware Cloud Foundation management and workload domains • Support greenfield and brownfield deployments, customer integration, and operational enablement across management and workload domains • Design and implement VCF automation workflows for repeatable and scalable deployments • Lead technical sessions on innovative data center solutions • Organize sales and training sessions on data center technologies • Build relationships with enterprise solution partners to drive collaboration • Support clients' digital transformation through audit, architecture, consulting, implementation, and training • Identify and validate cloud solution opportunities that integrate with existing systems • Assess cloud solutions for functionality, service availability, and performance • Evaluate hybrid platform solutions for organizational fit • Ensure technical feasibility for integration, data exchange, and migration processes • Participate in development and integration of emerging technology solutions and partnerships • Participate in customer-facing meetings to determine business and technical requirements for VMware VCF development • Stay current on technical challenges and industry trends

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent consulting industry experience • At least 10 years of experience in architecting and implementing data center solutions • Expert-level proficiency in the design and operation of the complete VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) stack, including vSphere, Automation, vSAN, and NSX/NSX-T architectures • Working knowledge of other major virtualization platforms such as Microsoft Hyper-V or KVM • Subject matter expertise in VMware Cloud Foundation (VCF) Automation • At least one of the following certifications: VMware Certified Professional, VCF, VCAP, VCDIX, VMware Knight • Broadcom VMware Knight highly desired • VMware virtualization skills covering servers, storage, and networks; operations management; orchestration and automation; virtual desktop infrastructure; and cloud foundation • Ability to design and provide architecture for Software Defined Infrastructure • General knowledge of Containers and Native Cloud Services • Proficiency in infrastructure automation, scripting languages such as Python and PowerShell, and configuration management tools such as Terraform and Ansible • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to analyze complex technical issues • Strong communication, interpersonal, presentation, sales, customer service, organizational, and time management skills • Ability to meet deadlines, prioritize tasks, delegate appropriately, and function in a high-paced environment • Candidates should be able to travel up to 25% of the time • Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer • Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times
