📋 Description

• Minimize access and reimbursement barriers for patients and providers to Prolastin-C • Execute the market access reimbursement plan in the assigned geographic area • Educate prescriber office personnel on the Prolastin Direct program and processes through in-person and virtual interactions • Manage patient support services and reimbursement programs in compliance with legal and regulatory requirements • Serve as subject matter expert on payer/reimbursement matters, patient services, and pharmacy processes • Collaborate with payor teams to understand payer policies and facilitate patient access • Help providers with prior authorizations, appeals, clinical criteria, electronic PA submissions, Letters of Medical Necessity, step edits, formulary exceptions, and coverage documentation • Enhance awareness and optimize patient support offerings and specialty pharmacy processes • Resolve patient-specific and customer-related reimbursement issues across the geography • Build professional relationships with customers in targeted accounts

🎯 Requirements

• Extensive knowledge of medication access channels • Strong functional knowledge of specialty pharmacy, health insurance, and benefits • Expert understanding of insurance eligibility and benefit verification • Knowledge of prior authorization, reimbursement coverage, insurance denial appeals, financial assistance, co-pay support, and free product programs • Ability to work independently and collaboratively cross-functionally • Ability to travel across a large multistate territory; more than 50% travel required • BA/BS degree required; advanced degree or PharmD preferred • 2 years of rare disease, specialty pharmacy, pharmaceutical, and/or biopharmaceutical experience • 1–2 years of experience calling on field-based customers • Proven ability to build strong relationships with healthcare professionals • Depending on the assignment, directly related experience or a combination of education, experience, and/or competencies may substitute for stated requirements
