📋 Description

• Lead deep-dive technical discussions and discovery sessions with architects, security engineers, and business owners • Present and demonstrate PlainID’s platform and key differentiators • Own the end-to-end proof-of-concept process, including scoping, environment configuration, policy building, and executive readouts • Collaborate with Regional Sales Managers through complex sales cycles • Respond to RFx and align technical solutions with organizational goals • Identify business value behind prospects’ adoption of PBAC/ABAC and document it in executive summaries • Guide customers in integrating PlainID with identity providers, IGA, PAM, API gateways, and data platforms • Serve as the primary technical resource for the sales team and bridge authorization challenges with PlainID solutions • Support onsite customer engagements and partner events, traveling up to 50% within the assigned region

🎯 Requirements

• At least 5 years of hands-on experience in Identity Security as a Sales Engineer, Solution Architect, or similar technical pre-sales role • Deep understanding of PBAC and ABAC methodologies • Familiarity with OPA/Rego policy language highly preferred • Proficiency in OIDC, SAML, SCIM, and OAuth 2.0 • Awareness of AuthZEN is an advantage • Familiarity with SPIFFE & SPIRE preferred • Proven experience with Linux/Windows environments and containerization, including Kubernetes, Helm charts, and AWS ECS • Working knowledge of RESTful APIs, API Gateways such as Apigee and Kong, and data platforms including Snowflake, Databricks, and SQL • Familiarity with securing AI agents, including MCP, RAG, LangChain/LangGraph, NHI, on-behalf-of execution, and agent discovery • Exceptional presentation skills and ability to explain complex technical concepts to technical and non-technical audiences • Ability to perform gap analyses and provide technical commitments aligned with long-term partnership goals • Capability to manage multiple POCs and technical workstreams simultaneously • Ability to collaborate across Product, Global Services, and Marketing teams • Information security certifications such as CISSP and CISA, or AWS/Azure certifications, are considered an advantage
