📋 Description

• Lead discovery, scoping, solution design, and estimation for integration engagements • Engage directly with customers across pre-sales and delivery • Elicit business problems and translate them into platform-native solutions • Facilitate customer workshops, architecture reviews, whiteboarding sessions, and executive presentations • Own Solutions Design Documents, ADRs, estimates, and definition-of-done criteria • Provide architectural guidance across the integration lifecycle from intake through go-live and handover • Design using fixed-price-engineering patterns, reusable connectors, and configuration over custom code • Enforce ORCA contract fidelity and platform conventions • Contribute findings and standards through the Architecture Review Council • Validate scope, requirements, and estimates before delivery commitments • Mentor and coach PortX and customer development teams • Convert engagement work into reusable connectors, templates, mappings, patterns, and playbooks • Use AI tooling for code generation, spec-driven scaffolding, conformance scoring, and documentation generation • Drive continuous improvement across integration patterns, delivery methodology, estimation models, tooling, and documentation • Lead hands-on spikes, reference implementations, and rescue work when needed • Ensure engagements ship on templated/FPE patterns with no unreviewed bespoke code • Help delivery squads become self-sufficient and improve estimation accuracy

🎯 Requirements

• Strong enterprise integration consulting and implementation experience with APIs, event-driven architecture, and integration platforms/iPaaS • Experience leading engagements • Customer-facing skills in discovery, workshop facilitation, estimation, executive communication, and scope management with commercial awareness • Fluency reading and reviewing code to govern quality, review PRs, and prototype • Hands-on experience with AI-assisted engineering, including code generation, agentic tooling, and spec-to-code workflows • Working knowledge of containerization, Kubernetes/GitOps-style deployment, and AWS • Experience with OpenAPI-first design, consuming and specifying web services, Git, and standard build tooling • Strong problem-solving skills • Excellent spoken and written English communication skills • Strong organization, prioritization, and time management skills • Flexibility and responsiveness to changing priorities and tight deadlines • Confident customer-facing presence and ability to build trust and engagement • US citizenship required • No visa sponsorship available • Banking, credit union, or payments domain experience strongly preferred • Experience productizing services delivery strongly preferred • Experience with architecture governance strongly preferred
