📋 Description

• Design and govern scalable, fault-tolerant data pipelines across Microsoft Fabric, SAP ECC 6.0, and Google BigQuery • Architect extraction from SAP ECC modules FI/CO, MM, SD, and PP, including medallion layering in Fabric Lakehouse and OneLake • Establish batch and near-real-time ingestion patterns, including change-data-capture strategies • Design integration strategies bridging Microsoft Azure and Google Cloud • Evaluate ingestion, orchestration, and storage patterns for performance, cost, and maintainability • Design enterprise semantic models for natural-language querying, Copilot integration, and machine learning pipelines • Build and govern validated business logic, KPI definitions, feature stores, and training datasets • Establish data governance, lineage, security, quality, access-control, and cost-optimization frameworks • Translate business strategy into a data architecture roadmap and communicate trade-offs to executives • Partner with finance, operations, supply chain, and sales leaders • Mentor data engineers, BI developers, and analysts • Set technical standards, review designs, handle complex architectural escalations, and build business cases for data investments

🎯 Requirements

• 5+ years in data engineering or architecture • 1+ years in a senior or lead architect capacity • Deep, hands-on expertise with Microsoft Fabric (OneLake, Lakehouse, Data Factory, Power BI semantic models and dataflows) or equivalent • Proven experience extracting and modeling data from SAP ECC 6.0, including understanding SAP table structures and extraction challenges • Strong command of dimensional and semantic modeling, including Kimball, star schemas, and governed metric layers • Demonstrated ability to design architectures that enable AI and machine learning workloads • Track record of connecting technical decisions to measurable business outcomes and communicating them to executive stakeholders • Experience integrating heterogeneous cloud environments (Azure and GCP) preferred • Familiarity with AI and LLM-driven analytics preferred • Background in manufacturing, supply chain, or consumer products data domains preferred • Production experience with Google BigQuery, including partitioning, performance tuning, and cost management preferred • Must be authorized to work in the United States; posting asks whether sponsorship will be required
