📋 Description

• Build and maintain the platform that services timely and accurate data for operational teams and business stakeholder decision makers • Work closely with Data Scientists and Data Analysts to transform data into meaningful business insights • Work closely with DevOps to codify infrastructure as code and ensure the platform can scale • Deploy new data pipelines • Design and build data observability platforms and metrics • Build metadata-driven pipeline solutions • Monitor and optimize data transformations • Build third-party data integrations

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in a quantitative field such as Statistics, Economics, Engineering, Mathematics, or Data Science • At least 4 years of work experience in software engineering • Experience with one or more major cloud vendors: AWS, GCP, or Azure • Experience with infrastructure as code tools and methodologies • Experience in SQL-based and Python data manipulation with large datasets • Ability to work at a computer terminal with monitor, keyboard, and mouse for extended periods • Ability to stoop, bend, and reach for equipment and supplies • Ability to make frequent repetitive wrist, hand, and finger motions required to operate a computer • Ability to lift, carry, push, pull, and move light objects up to 20 pounds • Ability to effectively communicate through verbal interactions • Ability to discern auditory information and visually perceive details • Applicants must be authorized to work for any employer in the U.S. • Preferred: Master's Degree in a quantitative field • Preferred: Experience with AWS and Terraform • Preferred: Experience designing ELT/ETL workflows • Preferred: Programming experience in Python • Preferred: Experience administering/tuning Snowflake
