📋 Description

• Administer, configure, test, and support Workday Financials business processes and finance modules • Translate Finance and Accounting requirements into system designs, configuration changes, reports, integrations, testing plans, documentation, and production-ready solutions • Lead enhancements and projects from discovery through deployment, including requirements, design, testing, stakeholder communication, training, and post-production support • Support Adaptive Planning and other finance systems used by FP&A, Accounting, and Finance leadership • Manage Workday Financials security administration, role assignments, access requests, and related controls • Perform quarterly security and controls reviews and support internal and external audit requests • Own and resolve ServiceNow requests related to access, business process routing, reporting, integrations, configuration, master data, and system exceptions • Review Workday releases and vendor updates, assess impacts, recommend adoption decisions, and coordinate testing and communications • Lead complex issue investigation and root cause analysis for process failures, reporting discrepancies, integration errors, security issues, master data changes, and downstream financial impacts • Identify support trends and improvement opportunities and implement sustainable fixes • Contribute to the financial systems roadmap and special projects • Maintain documentation, provide end-user guidance, and mentor less-experienced team members • Partner with Finance, Accounting, IT, auditors, and third-party partners

🎯 Requirements

• 4 or more years of applicable experience • Bachelor’s degree required • Advanced knowledge of Workday Financials administration, business processes, security, reporting, integrations, and configuration concepts • Experience with Adaptive Planning or related finance planning platforms preferred • Strong understanding of Finance and Accounting processes, internal controls, segregation of duties, financial data, and system dependencies • Ability to translate complex business needs into scalable system designs, clear requirements, testing strategies, documentation, and sustainable support processes • Analytical, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, project delivery, stakeholder management, and change communication skills • Ability to work independently, manage competing priorities, exercise sound judgment, influence without direct authority, and communicate effectively with technical and nontechnical audiences • Hands-on experience supporting Workday Financials or a comparable cloud ERP, including business process configuration, security administration, reporting, integration support, release management, and production issue resolution • Experience leading complex enhancements or projects through requirements, design, testing, deployment, stakeholder communication, training, and post-production support • Experience supporting internal or external audits, controls evidence, access reviews, and remediation activities • Experience serving as a subject-matter expert or mentor; formal people-management experience is not required • Ability to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods • Ability to adapt and change priorities quickly and meet deadlines • Attention to detail • Ability to operate computer programs and software • Ability to communicate effectively with audiences in person and electronically • Ability to work collaboratively in close quarters with peers and varying interruptions • Travel 1–20% within the US
