📋 Description

• Diagnose complex operational issues and identify root causes • Use AI to accelerate investigation and resolution • Build automation and AI-driven workflows • Manage and support cloud-native compute, storage, networking, identity, monitoring, and security services • Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code using tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, and Google Deployment Manager • Create runbooks, knowledge base articles, and technical documentation • Measure and report on automation and AI initiatives • Drive continuous improvement, innovation, and operational excellence • Serve as the primary technical resource for managed services customers • Communicate with customers about incidents, service requests, maintenance, and changes • Deliver customer service while maintaining SLA commitments • Mentor team members and lead technical initiatives • Provide technical leadership during complex incidents, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and corrective actions • Support customer environments across AWS and GCP and help mature GCP managed services capabilities

🎯 Requirements

• 6+ years of experience troubleshooting and managing core services in both AWS and GCP • 3+ years developing automation solutions using Python, Infrastructure-as-Code, APIs, workflows, or orchestration tools • 3+ years of experience supporting enterprise infrastructure, cloud operations, managed services, or platform engineering environments • Demonstrated ability to leverage AI tools, assistants, and automation platforms • Experience consuming and integrating REST APIs and cloud-native services • Strong analytical and systems-thinking skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Experience supporting containerized workloads • At least one current AWS or GCP certification, or willingness to obtain one within 90 days of hire • Must be eligible to support public sector customers and complete required background investigations • Must be available during designated shift hours; after-hours escalation and on-call rotation may be required • Must be a US Citizen • Proof of active certification(s) is required • Candidates must successfully complete and maintain all customer-required background investigations and eligibility requirements
