📋 Description

• Plan, design, develop, test, and implement software applications from conception through completion • Independently manage complex software development activities • Make well-reasoned decisions regarding software design, implementation, technical tradeoffs, and long-term maintainability • Develop innovative solutions to complex technical problems • Design and improve solutions for system performance, reliability, and scalability • Proactively identify opportunities to improve existing applications and code • Anticipate technical challenges and recommend solutions before they affect delivery • Break complex development efforts into manageable tasks and provide accurate estimates • Conduct timely and thorough code reviews • Lead by example in software development processes, engineering standards, and testing strategies • Collaborate with Engineering, QA, DevOps, Product, and other cross-functional teams • Support system configuration and application deployments, including occasional after-hours assistance • Create and maintain technical, installation, operational, and troubleshooting documentation • Mentor and support fellow engineers while promoting technical excellence and continuous learning • Deliver high-quality work within established timelines and adapt effectively to changing priorities and technologies

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline • 7+ years of professional software development experience • Technical skills: Java, TypeScript and React.js • Advanced knowledge of software development concepts, practices, and processes • Experience with software architecture and design • Experience with software requirements, debugging, testing, and documentation • Experience with software build and deployment processes • Experience working within Agile development environments • Demonstrated ability to independently solve complex technical problems • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Strong written and verbal communication skills • Ability to manage multiple priorities and consistently deliver results • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively and provide technical leadership within an engineering team
