📋 Description

• Build and scale test automation, quality infrastructure, and performance testing systems • Lead the design and implementation of core automation frameworks • Lead the migration from Cypress to Playwright • Develop and lead the performance testing framework • Define RCA and failure triage processes across teams • Personally lead root-cause analysis on complex failures • Address challenging quality problems, including automation architecture and AI-assisted testing • Drive projects from ideation through deployment and beyond • Identify and pursue impactful work with a high degree of autonomy • Mentor senior engineers and elevate the quality bar across the engineering organization

🎯 Requirements

• 8-10+ years of experience building and scaling test automation for complex software systems • Excellent programming ability in JavaScript/TypeScript • Comfortable writing and maintaining production-grade automation code • Proven track record of designing, leading, and delivering large-scale, cross-functional quality initiatives • Experience root-causing complex, cross-functional failures and building triage processes • Hands-on experience integrating AI into quality workflows, from test generation to flaky-test triage • Significant experience mentoring engineers and providing technical leadership • Experience driving quality strategy and vision • Experience with JavaScript / NodeJS / TypeScript • Experience with Cypress, Playwright, and AI agentic frameworks • Experience with performance testing frameworks such as JMeter or k6 • Experience with MongoDB • Knowledge of microservice architecture and Kubernetes • Experience with AWS or Google Cloud
