📋 Description

• Lead a team of protection & control engineers, engineering technicians, and drafting technicians from project proposal through project as-built stage • Coordinate with Substation Physical Engineering, Relay Settings, and other groups to ensure design concurrence • Develop complete engineering design packages for protective relaying and communications systems • Develop SCADA packages, including input/output lists (Point Data Sheets) • Provide technical direction and on-the-job training to drafters, engineering technicians, and less experienced engineers • Develop, nurture, and maintain relationships with senior engineers, managers, executives, and current or prospective clients • Present technical solutions to key customers and respond to technical concerns and questions • Direct and/or participate in client meetings and job site visits to collect or deliver design and engineering data • Ensure company QA/QC processes are followed on all design packages • Delegate, plan, prioritize, and review the work of other engineers

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering (BSEE); Civil Engineering degrees will also be considered • An MS Degree in Engineering will be considered in lieu of the BS Engineering degree • International Engineering Degrees will be considered • Seven (7) or more years of electrical engineering experience desired • Experience in protection and control engineering required • Professional Engineer (PE) registration required • Valid driver's license and acceptable driving record required • Familiarity with AutoCAD and/or MicroStation • Strong analytical and computer skills • Ability to lead and mentor engineers, engineering technicians, and drafting technicians
