📋 Description

• Design and architect scalable, resilient network solutions across routing, switching, fabric, and security domains • Lead complex troubleshooting efforts involving routing protocols, fabric/switching connectivity, and firewall policy conflicts • Architect and maintain Cisco ACI fabric environments, including tenant design, endpoint groups, contracts, and fabric integration • Architect and maintain Cisco SD-Access fabric environments, including underlay/overlay design, fabric nodes, and DNA Center-based policy and segmentation • Design, configure, and troubleshoot BGP and OSPF routing environments • Architect highly available switching infrastructure across Nexus, ACI, and SD-Access environments, including VXLAN/EVPN segmentation • Configure, maintain, and troubleshoot Palo Alto Networks firewalls, including policy design, NAT, VPN, and threat prevention • Design and manage NAC policies and device compliance using Forescout or Aruba ClearPass • Serve as an escalation point for high-level, service-impacting network issues • Review and recommend security postures to peers and security teams • Research and recommend hardware, software, and vendor solutions • Lead implementation planning for network hardware installations • Develop project plans and task lists and participate in peer design reviews • Partner with vendors and third-party providers to evaluate and integrate equipment and services • Create and maintain technical documentation, network diagrams, and standard operating procedures • Mentor less experienced engineers • Participate in the on-call support rotation

🎯 Requirements

• Advanced knowledge of enterprise network design, configuration, installation, maintenance, and upgrades • Advanced knowledge of TCP/IP, OSI model, and switching technologies • Advanced knowledge of BGP and OSPF design, troubleshooting, and optimization • Advanced knowledge of Cisco ACI architecture and data center fabric design • Advanced knowledge of Cisco SD-Access architecture and campus fabric design • Strong knowledge of network security architecture, including Palo Alto Networks firewall policy design and segmentation strategies • Strong knowledge of network access control (NAC) concepts and enforcement using Forescout • Working knowledge of Cisco, Juniper, Palo Alto Networks, and Brocade equipment • CCNP or higher required (Routing and Switching, Enterprise, or Data Center track) • CCIE preferred • Wireless certifications a plus • Pacific Northwest based preferred but not required • Periodic travel to the Seattle, WA metropolitan area required • Participation in on-call support rotation per team design
