📋 Description

• Oversee fulfillment of technical requirements for Asset Management contracts and consulting services • Define team direction • Develop, resource, and manage large-scope and long-term projects, making resource, scope, and delivery tradeoffs • Review work products and progress to ensure success • Facilitate meetings with external stakeholders and cross-functional teams • Resolve issues within and across teams • Mentor team members and lower-level managers • Establish and assure adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements • Develop compensation planning, career coaching, and training, and administer company policies for the team • Drive cross-functional team improvement initiatives and propose updates to team policies and SOPs • Support development of strategic directions within the team • Oversee development of new technology services, including processes, procedures, AI tools, and required software updates • Lead and oversee technical asset management activities for BESS projects, including operational performance, availability, warranty review, degradation analysis, and coordination with OEMs, operators, and internal stakeholders • Review monthly and annual invoicing calculation support documentation against energy contracts to validate required calculations and metrics

🎯 Requirements

• 4-8 years management experience • Proven documentation, presentation, and communication skills with working teams and senior level management, CEOs, and boards of directors • University Degree (or equivalent) with 8+ years domain experience • Experience managing utility-scale battery energy storage system (BESS) projects, including operations, performance monitoring, contract compliance, and technical issue resolution • Masters/Graduate and 6+ years domain experience • Proven ability to set direction and drive large cross-functional teams to success • Able to work as part of a larger team • Proven success in personnel management, coaching, and mentoring • Proven ability to liaise with clients/internal management on significant issues requiring high-level management intervention • Root cause analysis and process improvement • Big-picture thinking that drives teams to meet organizational goals and provides cross-functional improvements • Proven project and people management skills • Working knowledge of BESS operational performance drivers, including availability, round-trip efficiency, capacity degradation, augmentation planning, safety considerations, and root cause analysis for equipment or controls-related issues • Expertise in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Adobe PDF toolsets
