📋 Description

• Lead development of a portfolio-wide HSEQ approach across EPC/EPCM projects • Serve as primary HSEQ advisor to Project Directors and EPC/EPCM leadership teams • Drive adoption of Ramboll’s HSEQ program and translate expectations into project-level controls and leadership routines • Provide HSEQ guidance during proposals and contract negotiations • Establish HSEQ organization structures, roles, responsibilities, interfaces, and governance models • Establish standardized HSEQ execution plans across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover • Establish construction readiness expectations, including contractor mobilization, competency assurance, risk review, and field execution controls • Align HSEQ standards and performance requirements across contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and third-party stakeholders • Lead contractor onboarding, alignment sessions, audits, and recurring performance reviews • Embed HSEQ requirements into contracting strategies, procurement packages, bid documents, mobilization plans, and contractor management processes • Provide governance and assurance over hazard identification, construction risk assessments, high-risk work reviews, and site controls • Review controls for lifting, electrical work, confined space entry, work at height, ground disturbance, energization, commissioning, and simultaneous operations • Provide oversight and escalation support for high-potential or higher-severity incidents • Conduct site visits, leadership engagements, and assurance reviews • Coach project and contractor leadership teams to strengthen safety leadership and leading indicators • Promote open communication, psychological safety, learning, and continuous improvement • Oversee compliance with health, safety, and environmental regulations, client requirements, and Ramboll HSEQ standards • Represent Ramboll in client audits, regulatory inspections, and EPC/EPCM governance meetings • Establish consistent HSEQ performance reporting using leading and lagging indicators • Translate performance data into insights, actions, and recommendations for stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field • 10+ years of progressive on-site HSEQ leadership experience with substantial large-scale EPC/EPCM project exposure • Strong background supporting multi-contractor, high-risk industrial construction environments • Ability to influence without direct authority • Experience supporting construction management delivery models where HSEQ performance is delivered through contractor execution and strong client/contractor interface management • Working knowledge of construction-phase HSEQ controls, contractor management, incident investigation, assurance, and regulatory compliance • Ability to travel regularly to project locations • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis • Preferred: Professional certifications (CSP, CMIOSH, NEBOSH, CRSP, or equivalent) • Preferred: Experience with energy transition, power, renewables, industrial de-carbonisation, chemicals, manufacturing, mining, or major infrastructure projects • Preferred: Experience supporting owner’s EPC/EPCM models across multiple concurrent projects • Preferred: International or remote project experience
