📋 Description

• Lead portfolio-wide HSEQ strategy, standards, processes, and project-specific execution across EPC/EPCM projects • Advise Project Directors and EPC/EPCM leadership teams • Drive adoption of Ramboll’s HSEQ program and translate expectations into project-level controls and routines • Provide HSEQ guidance during proposals and contract negotiations • Define HSEQ organization structures, roles, responsibilities, interfaces, and governance models • Establish standardized HSEQ execution plans across engineering, procurement, construction, commissioning, and turnover • Establish construction readiness expectations covering contractor mobilization, competency assurance, risk review, and field controls • Align HSEQ expectations across contractors, subcontractors, vendors, and third parties • Lead contractor onboarding, alignment sessions, audits, and performance reviews • Embed HSEQ requirements into contracting strategies, procurement packages, bid documents, mobilization plans, and contractor management processes • Provide governance and assurance over hazard identification, construction risk assessments, high-risk work reviews, and site controls • Review controls for high-risk activities including lifting, electrical work, confined space entry, work at height, ground disturbance, energization, commissioning, and simultaneous operations • Support incident investigations, escalation, and lessons-learned implementation • Conduct site visits, leadership engagements, and assurance reviews • Build safety culture, accountability, proactive safety behaviors, psychological safety, learning, and continuous improvement • Oversee regulatory, client, and Ramboll HSEQ compliance • Represent Ramboll in client audits, regulatory inspections, and governance meetings • Establish HSEQ performance reporting using leading and lagging indicators • Translate performance data into insights, actions, and recommendations for stakeholders

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Engineering, or related field • 10+ years of progressive on-site HSEQ leadership experience • Substantial large-scale EPC/EPCM project exposure • Experience in multi-contractor, high-risk industrial construction environments • Ability to influence without direct authority • Experience supporting construction management delivery models through contractor execution and client/contractor interface management • Working knowledge of construction-phase HSEQ controls, contractor management, incident investigation, assurance, and regulatory compliance • Ability to travel regularly to project locations • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder management skills • Applicants must be currently authorized to work in the United States on a full-time basis • No sponsorship is available • Preferred: CSP, CMIOSH, NEBOSH, CRSP, or equivalent certification • Preferred: experience with energy transition, power, renewables, industrial de-carbonisation, chemicals, manufacturing, mining, or major infrastructure projects • Preferred: experience supporting owner’s EPC/EPCM models across multiple concurrent projects • Preferred: international or remote project experience
