📋 Description

• Develop and execute Good Store’s growth strategy to expand revenue, operating profit, and customer lifetime value while advancing its mission • Identify, evaluate, and launch growth initiatives, including product lines, partnerships, sales channels, and emerging market opportunities • Establish business objectives, KPIs, and operating rhythms aligned with strategic priorities • Lead daily operations across product merchandising, inventory management, website content, and customer touchpoints • Partner with Warehouse Ops and Customer Service to monitor service levels, accuracy, and customer satisfaction and troubleshoot issues • Develop inventory and purchasing strategies balancing demand, cash flow, warehouse capacity, turnover, availability, and data integrity • Manage vendor, manufacturer, and strategic partner relationships and negotiate commercial terms • Improve systems and processes for scalability, efficiency, resilience, and sustainable growth • Partner with executive leadership on cross-functional alignment and company health • Drive customer acquisition, engagement, and retention through advertising, social media, email marketing, SEO, and partnerships • Champion the end-to-end customer experience from product discovery through post-purchase support • Partner with creative teams on brand assets communicating Good Store’s mission and products • Use customer insights, analytics, and market trends to inform product strategy and business decisions • Partner with Hank and John Green on content creation and promotions • Own budgeting, forecasting, profitability, cash flow considerations, KPI reporting, and operating targets • Report Good Store performance and strategic recommendations to the CEO and ELT • Ensure accurate Commercial Co-Venturer and trademark licensing agreements and fulfillment of charitable commitments • Manage Good Store’s intellectual property portfolio, including trademarks, registrations, renewals, and brand protection • Recruit, develop, coach, and lead the Good Store team • Build organizational capacity and develop leaders • Foster a constructive relationship with the DFTBA Workers Union

🎯 Requirements

• Proven experience as a General Manager, Director, or similar leadership role within an e-commerce or digital business • Strong knowledge of e-commerce platforms, such as Shopify • Strong knowledge of digital marketing channels • Demonstrated success driving revenue growth, scaling operations, and enhancing customer experience • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, forecasting, and performance analysis • Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth environment • Must pass a background check via Checkr • Role is exempt and excluded from the DFTBA Workers Union bargaining unit
