📋 Description

• Work cross-functionally with product, data science, operations, and engineering counterparts to execute product and business strategy that keeps Reddit safe. • Contribute to the full development cycle, including ideation, technical design, development, testing, experimentation, analysis, and launch. • Review code and design documents and help shape the roadmap. • Lead a team of engineers. • Set and define standards to improve developer workflows and recommend best practices. • Coach and mentor engineers to support their professional development. • Innovate on new solutions and continuously improve technical and non-technical abilities. • Drive technical and product strategy, operations, architecture, and execution for a major online platform.

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of software development experience in one or more general-purpose programming languages; Go, Python, Rust, Ruby. • BS degree in Computer Science, a similar technical field of study or equivalent practical experience. • Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize tasks and keep projects on schedule. • Entrepreneurial spirit; self-directed, innovative, and biased towards action in fast-paced environments. • Experience partnering effectively with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment. • Ability to discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences. • Applied ML experience for a product or business solution is a bonus.
