📋 Description

• Assist in designing and modeling end-to-end architectures, system integration diagrams, and technical specifications for federal IT programs • Collaborate with technical leads and stakeholders to decompose functional, operational, and mission requirements into structured solution designs and technical user stories • Produce and maintain technical documentation, including system-of-systems diagrams, interface control documents, and architectural blueprints for government review • Support integration of multi-tier software applications, cloud hosting infrastructure, data engineering pipelines, and AI/ML workflows • Partner with software development, infrastructure, and test teams to provide architectural guidance, troubleshoot technical challenges, and ensure compliance with design standards • Incorporate federal security baselines into architectures, supporting NIST RMF, FedRAMP, and DoD Cloud Computing SRG IL2–IL6 compliance • Apply cloud-native design patterns, CI/CD pipelines, and Agile methodologies to support continuous delivery • Support technical design, development, and delivery of secure, scalable, and resilient IT and cloud solutions for federal and DoD engagements

🎯 Requirements

• Active DoD Secret security clearance • U.S. Citizenship • 4+ years of professional technical experience in software engineering, systems engineering, cloud engineering, or solutions architecture • Experience designing, configuring, or deploying solutions within cloud computing environments; AWS preferred • Working knowledge of microservices architectures, full-stack design patterns, and API integration standards including REST and GraphQL • Practical experience with Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Terraform and AWS CloudFormation • Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes • Hands-on experience with automated CI/CD pipelines, version control workflows, and integrated security scanning practices • Ability to create clear technical documentation and communicate complex technical concepts effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders • AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Associate or equivalent Azure/GCP certification preferred • Prior federal government or DoD contract experience preferred • Experience with GitLab, Jira, and Databricks preferred • Exposure to data lakes, distributed data processing, ETL/ELT pipelines, or Apache Spark preferred • Familiarity with AI/ML integration concepts, including RAG, LLM APIs, and MLOps workflows preferred • Experience with Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, or SAFe preferred
