📋 Description

• Review Jira stories, business requirements, and acceptance criteria to develop comprehensive test plans and test cases • Design test scenarios for functional, regression, integration, and end-to-end workflows • Identify and automate repetitive and high-value test scenarios • Participate in backlog refinement, sprint planning, requirement discussions, daily stand-ups, and release activities • Evaluate, recommend, implement, and administer the test automation framework and supporting tools • Design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and system testing • Build reusable automation libraries, testing standards, coding standards, and documentation • Execute automated regression, smoke, and functional test suites • Perform manual testing when automation is not practical or during new feature development • Validate end-to-end business workflows across the claims processing platform • Verify fixes and ensure production readiness before releases • Identify, document, and track defects in Jira with reproduction steps and supporting evidence • Collaborate with developers to troubleshoot issues and validate resolutions • Retest resolved defects and confirm successful implementation • Communicate testing status, risks, and quality metrics throughout the development lifecycle • Recommend process improvements that increase testing efficiency and software quality • Work with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and QA team members throughout the Agile lifecycle • Partner with Product and Engineering to implement and improve the test automation strategy • Stay current on emerging automation tools, frameworks, and industry best practices

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5+ years of Quality Assurance experience with a strong focus on test automation – Required • Intermediate level experience with SQL and database validation – Required • Experience designing, developing, and maintaining automated testing frameworks – Required • Hands-on experience with Playwright for test automation – Required • Experience with test automation tools and frameworks – Required • Experience with API testing using Postman – Required • Experience working with Jira and Agile/Scrum methodologies – Required • Strong understanding of software testing methodologies, SDLC, and defect lifecycle – Required • Excellent analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills – Required • Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams – Required • Experience implementing a test automation framework from the ground up – Preferred • Experience testing healthcare, claims processing, or other enterprise applications – Preferred • Familiarity with performance and load testing tools – Preferred • Experience mentoring QA team members on automation best practices – Preferred
