📋 Description

• Review and interpret Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) ratifications and apply them to employee payroll • Prepare and analyze union health and welfare and pension contribution calculations and monthly reporting • Maintain, analyze, and report union dues deductions as instructed by local unions • Prepare and remit union 401K contributions weekly • Audit payroll cycles for accuracy of deductions and transactions, including retro calculations, union dues, FLSA overtime premiums, and union benefit premiums • Process special payments under collective bargaining agreements, including vacation buybacks, boot allowances, safety payments, and union bonuses • Collaborate with HR Management, Total Rewards, HRIS, Field Management, and cross-functional payroll teams • Prepare payroll reports as requested • Transfer knowledge to team members and support the team • Perform other job-related duties, including payroll system testing and configuration

🎯 Requirements

• Experience with multi-state payroll processing • Basic knowledge of regular rate of pay calculation under the Fair Labor Standards Act (FLSA) • Experience with Microsoft Office products: Word, PowerPoint, OneNote, and Teams • Minimum of 3 years payroll, finance, or other relevant experience • Experience processing payroll for large companies with 10K or more employees • Experience with multiple union payrolls • Experience with Workday or similar HCM system • Intermediate Excel skills, emphasizing pivot tables and VLOOKUP • Experience with payroll applications such as ADP, Lawson, Ceridian, and Kronos • Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) preferred • Not sponsorship eligible
