📋 Description

• Support day-to-day HR operations across the United States and Canada • Coordinate onboarding and offboarding, including documentation, system updates, background checks, I-9 requirements, and related activities • Maintain accurate employee records, organizational changes, documentation, workflows, and data within BambooHR and digital employee files • Support HR compliance activities, including SOC compliance, audit requirements, employee documentation, benefits, payroll-related administration, and other People Operations needs • Partner with the People Team to develop, document, standardize, and continuously improve HR processes and workflows • Respond to day-to-day HR questions, provide guidance and resources, and ensure issues are appropriately addressed and resolved • Coordinate HR projects, deadlines, reporting, documentation, and follow-ups across multiple priorities • Work closely with the People Team and wider business to identify operational gaps, implement practical solutions, and strengthen HR processes and support

🎯 Requirements

• 3–5 years of experience in an HR Coordinator, People Operations, HR Generalist, or similar role • Hands-on experience supporting employees across both the United States and Canada, with a solid understanding of relevant HR practices and requirements • Experience using BambooHR to manage employee data, records, workflows, reporting, and HR processes • Experience supporting a public company environment, with strong awareness of compliance, controls, documentation, SOC requirements, audit readiness, and confidential employee information • Strong understanding of how effective People Operations supports broader business objectives, combined with the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, startup-style environment • Highly organised and detail-oriented, with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines, employee records, compliance documentation, and payroll-related information accurately • Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to identify what needs to be done, solve operational challenges, and improve processes without requiring constant direction • Personable and approachable, with strong professional communication skills and the ability to build effective relationships while working independently and collaboratively within a global People Team
