📋 Description

• Implement well-defined technical problems or solutions with limited oversight • Create API-based applications from concept to finished product with a cloud-first emphasis • Design, develop, test, deploy, and support API-based systems using industry best practices • Manage individual tasks and timelines under limited supervision • Seek continuous quality improvements for supported systems • Assist in problem analysis and submit recommendations when appropriate • Perform other duties as assigned • Participate in preliminary screening processes supported by AI technology, while hiring decisions remain with RGA recruiters

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s Degree in Arts/Sciences (BA/BS) of Computer Science or equivalent experience • 1+ years of software development experience • Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies • Proficiency in multiple full-stack tools covering frontend frameworks, databases, and deployments • Experience with a variety of general programming languages • Ability to solve moderately complex problems using technical experience, precedents, and judgment • Strong communication skills, including ability to explain complex information in straightforward situations • Experience with a variety of database technologies • JavaScript/Java/Groovy/Go/C#/.Net/Python preferred • Docker/Kubernetes preferred • Insurance and/or reinsurance industry knowledge preferred
