📋 Description

• Establish and manage the operating model connecting data center asset operations, maintenance activity, project execution, and fixed asset accounting • Design, implement, and continuously improve the end-to-end process linking Nuvolo physical asset activity, work orders, maintenance records, and lifecycle events to NetSuite fixed asset records • Align Nuvolo asset hierarchies, identifiers, tagging standards, classifications, locations, and lifecycle statuses with NetSuite reporting and accounting needs • Translate NetSuite fixed asset and accounting requirements into Nuvolo workflows, mandatory data fields, supporting documentation, and system controls • Lead business requirements, process design, testing, implementation, and enhancement of Nuvolo-NetSuite integrations and interfaces • Define data mappings, integration triggers, validation rules, error handling, data ownership, and controls with IT, platform, data, and system owners • Connect work orders, maintenance activities, component replacements, commissioning, and decommissioning to physical assets and corresponding ERP fixed asset records • Develop business rules and escalation workflows for capitalizable betterments, component replacements, retirements, transfers, and disposals • Establish recurring reconciliations between CMMS asset registers and ERP fixed asset records; investigate and resolve exceptions • Develop reporting on integration status, asset-event volume, reconciliation results, exception aging, data quality, and financial-readiness risks • Coordinate with the Senior Fixed Asset Accountant to deliver accounting-relevant operational events and supporting information for capitalization, retirement, transfer, and other fixed asset processing

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (e.g., Business Administration with an accounting focus, or Management Information Systems) • 7+ years of progressive experience in fixed asset accounting, capital asset management, finance transformation, or business systems analysis within capital-intensive industries • Strong technical comprehension of fixed asset accounting principles, including capitalization thresholds, componentization, betterments versus routine maintenance, asset de-recognition, transfers, and disposals • Hands-on experience with an ERP system such as NetSuite, including fixed asset subledger management, capital project records, and purchasing modules • Experience with a CMMS platform such as Nuvolo or an equivalent enterprise work and asset management platform, including equipment hierarchies, work orders, and asset status tracking • Experience designing, testing, or managing business requirements for integrations, automated data interfaces, or reconciliation workflows between operational maintenance systems and ERP subledgers • Experience establishing internal controls, audit trails, and physical-to-book reconciliation frameworks compliant with SOX and internal audit standards • Strong analytical and data-manipulation skills, including reconciling disparate datasets, investigating systemic anomalies, and identifying process bottlenecks • Exceptional cross-functional collaboration and communication skills, translating technical engineering and operational workflows into accounting requirements and vice versa
