📋 Description

• Provide technical leadership for the Code Plane • Guide architecture, code quality, and technical trade-offs • Build end-user product features and technical product surfaces • Partner with Product and Design to take features from idea to shipment • Incorporate customer feedback into the product roadmap • Build systems called by agents or other programs, including MCP servers, agent SDKs, tool surfaces, harnesses, or non-human-caller CLIs • Use and reason about coding agents in development workflows

🎯 Requirements

• 8+ years of professional software engineering experience • Fluency across backend and frontend stack: Go, TypeScript, SvelteKit, React, GraphQL APIs, PostgreSQL, Docker, and Kubernetes in a multi-service environment • Strong technical background with ability to provide technical guidance on architecture, code quality, and trade-offs • Proven experience building end-user product features, ideally developer tools, agent/AI products, CLIs, or other technical product surfaces • Experience partnering closely with Product and Design to take features from idea to shipped and incorporate customer feedback into the roadmap • Experience building systems that agents or other programs call, such as MCP servers, agent SDKs, tool surfaces, harnesses, or CLIs designed for non-human callers • Hands-on experience using and reasoning about coding agents such as Amp, Claude Code, Cursor, or similar • Strong opinions about effective workflows involving humans and agents • Async-first communication skills • Experience working in a globally distributed remote team
