📋 Description

• Build next-generation machine learning models that become new FlightAware Foresight products • Improve existing machine learning models • Develop machine learning systems using historical data and hundreds of millions of examples • Build models for runway landing times, gate arrival times, taxi durations, and other aviation predictions • Produce predictive aviation data that powers the FlightAware Foresight product suite • Work with very large datasets and niche large-scale data technologies • Solve open-ended machine learning and performance/efficiency problems • Collaborate within a small Aviation Intelligence team inside a larger organization • Bring ideas to the table and contribute beyond execution • Improve operational efficiency for airlines and airports worldwide

🎯 Requirements

• Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years of experience • Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without company immigration sponsorship now or in the future • Strong knowledge of Python • Experience with TensorFlow/Keras or PyTorch • Experience with complex data types such as time series, image, and video • Ability to work within an agile development style • Preferred: Experience with Kubernetes, AWS, GPU acceleration, graph neural networks, weather or other geospatial datasets, observability stacks, Dagster, Airflow, Iceberg, Spark, Elasticsearch, and hybrid cloud/on-prem Kubernetes infrastructure
