📋 Description

• Serve as the subcontracting lead for development of supplier RFPs, negotiations, subcontract agreements, execution, and daily administration • Ensure supplier compliance with prime contract terms, FAR/DFARS flow-downs, and company policy • Manage subcontract scope, funding, delivery schedules, changes, and modifications • Review supplier proposals for completeness, accuracy, compliance, and alignment with prime contract requirements • Drive closure on subcontract-related issues with suppliers and internal stakeholders, escalating only when necessary • Support fact-finding, price/cost analysis activities, and negotiations with suppliers • Draft statements of work, amendments, change orders, and related subcontract documents • Collaborate with Supply Chain, Program Management, Engineering, Finance, and Program Counsel • Serve as the primary focal point for suppliers and internal stakeholders regarding subcontract requirements, flow-downs, and interpretation of terms • Provide leadership and expertise in developing innovative solutions to complex issues

🎯 Requirements

• Bachelor's degree and 8+ years of subcontract or contract management experience; OR an Advanced degree and 5+ years of subcontract or contract management experience • Must be a U.S. Citizen • Strong familiarity with FAR/DFARS, including requirements applicable to government subcontracting • Experience preparing, evaluating, and negotiating supplier proposals • Strong analytical, drafting, and negotiation skills • Excellent communication skills • Ability to manage competing priorities in a fast-paced environment • Understanding of aerospace business and legal issues • Familiarity with CORE process improvement tools • Demonstrated team working skills • Independent learning ability
