📋 Description

• Develop PCB designs from conception through manufacturing • Create PCB, CCA, and schematic drawings for suppliers • Perform schematic capture, component placement, trace routing, and Gerber/ODB++ file creation • Use Siemens Xpedition Enterprise and BluePrint-PCB for drawings • Design rigid, flex, and rigid-flex assemblies • Execute full designs, re-spins, drawing updates, change notices, copper changes, and process improvement projects • Interface daily with Electrical, Mechanical, Components, Test, and Producibility Engineering disciplines • Capture overall design requirements while considering cost, cycle time, and producibility • Travel to El Segundo, California approximately three times per year

🎯 Requirements

• University Degree or equivalent experience • Minimum of 8 years of experience • Experience in at least two of: PCB manufacturing or CCA manufacturing principles affecting circuitry and component layout; electrical design process; laying out Rigid, Flex, or Rigid-Flex boards • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government-issued security clearance • U.S. citizenship required • Active and existing DoD Confidential security clearance required after day 1 • Working knowledge of Analog, Digital including DDR, RF, Power, mixed technology, multilayer designs, and HDI technology • Siemens design toolset, including Xpedition Layout and BluePrint-PCB • Gerber and ODB++ formats • Valor NPI and Design for Manufacturing rule sets • PCB/CCA drawings and GD&T techniques • IPC 6012 and IPC 6013 • Military and commercial design standards • RF circuitry and filter knowledge • Microsoft Windows operating system concepts and network services
